There are many ways that you can help keep Camp Sacajawea the
beautiful resource it is.

Monetary gifts are always welcome … and help us maintain the property. Since Transitions receives no funding to maintain the Camp, other than the nominal usage fees that are charged groups for its use, monetary gifts from kind donors help us enormously.  Donate Now!

Since we have no funding for Camp operations, we rely on volunteers to assist us in maintaining the property. A group of dedicated volunteers serve as Camp Rangers. They lock the facility at dusk, unlock the facility in the morning and assist with light maintenance (cleaning the trails, cleaning restrooms, etc.). If you love the out-of-doors, consider giving some time to be a Camp Ranger. Call Barbara Baker Chapin at (217) 223-0423, ext. 334 or e-mail her at mailto:bchapin@twi.org– we would love your help.

Groups that would like to volunteer can help us cut and move fire wood for the lodge and fire rings … cut honeysuckle … spray weeds … and complete other maintenance tasks. Again, contact Barbara Baker Chapin if your group is interested in undertaking a project at the Camp.
