~COMMUNITY SUPPORT WORKER (ADULTS) —Mental Health Services

We’re looking for a caring, self-motivated person to provide community support, case management, skills training, and stabilization services to adults who have serious mental illness.  You would provide services in the clients’ natural environment (home, community) within Adams County.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other Human Services field is required for this position.  Full-time position with flexible work schedule according to the clients’ needs as well as your own…primarily daytime hours of work plus after-hours on-call rotation 3-4 days/month.  Competitive base pay, bonus program, mileage reimbursement, and great benefits await you!

 

JOB COACH-Developmental/Intellectual Disability Services  ** NEW POSITION!**

Our Job Coaches get to provide on-the-job supports to adults who have various disabilities at worksites throughout the community.  They form great relationships with our clients and employers in integrated employment sites, helping the clients meet their vocational goals and maintain competitive employment while facilitating the clients’ independence in the job tasks.  This is a new position!  Part-time hours of work are available and candidates must be able to work daytime, evening, and/or weekend hours of work to meet the needs of the clients at their jobs. 

Requires HS Diploma or GED, driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to pass background checks.

~HOMELESS YOUTH SPECIALIST —Mental Health Services

Our Homeless Youth Specialist has a unique role in helping displaced youth secure housing as well as providing mental health and case management services to youth in the program.  Active community outreach and engagement with landlords and community partners are essential in this position.  Providing community support to children and adolescents is also part of this position’s duties.  

Qualified applicants must have a BA/BS degree in Psychology, Social, Work, or other Human Services field.

~DIRECT CARE STAFF (DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL)–Developmental/Intellectual Disability or Mental Health Services

** NEW**  $400 Sign-on Bonus for all DSPs!

As a Direct Support Professional at Transitions, you get to work with consumers who have intellectual or mental disabilities in group home settings, community settings, and/or in our day program. If you are patient and caring with a heart for helping others, this rewarding work might be for you!  CNA experience is helpful; however, paid training is provided. Our evening/weekend positions feature competitive pay along with two bonuses paid during the first year!   Must be 18+ years of age and possess a High School Diploma/GED. We’re currently looking to hire for these shifts/hours:

  • Full-time or Part-time: Evening/Weekend shifts–CILA Group Home
  • Full-time Float:  combination of evening, weekend, daytime, and occasional overnight shifts. This position is the highest paying DSP position at TWI!
  • Part-time:  Day shift in Community Day Services program

*Most full-time, evening/weekend positions feature a 4-day workweek!

~HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST–TALENT ACQUISITION

We’re looking for a Human Resources Specialist to perform HR functions working with a staff of about 200 employees. Primary responsibilities are in the area of talent acquisition including candidate sourcing and advertising. applicant tracking, contact and engagement, scheduling and conducting interviews, checking references, conducting background checks, and leading orientation meetings. Will perform other duties within the scope of Human Resources or to support the agency’s employees and mission.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Communications, or similar field of study is required; work experience in HR is preferred. Excellent communication skills, friendly personality, the ability to change gears/priorities quickly and to navigate multiple projects simultaneously are very important in this role.  Full-time position, daytime hours of work, Monday through Friday.

 

~PARENT EDUCATOR    ** PAY RATE RECENTLY INCREASED!**

Our Parent Educators get to provide valuable home visiting services for parents of children ages Birth to Five. According to our participants, this is one of our most well-loved programs! Parent Educators empower parents to be their child’s first teacher using the Parents as Teachers evidenced-based practice model. They provide free educational and developmental tools to support parents, complete assessments, treatment plans, and deliver case management services.  Full-time position, mainly daytime and early evening hours of work according to parents’ needs along with the employee’s preferences, providing a flexible work schedule.

This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a Human Services field and experience with young children is preferred.
