Camp Sacajawea

Camp Sacajawea is a 77-acre timber located just three miles south of Quincy.  Purchased in 2001, the Camp is home to abundant wildlife and beautiful timber.  The Camp is accessible to people with disabilities, as it has handicapped accessible parking, handicapped-accessible trails, and accessible restroom facilities.

Area groups use the Camp for day camps, retreats, and overnight tent camping;  the public enjoys walking the trails and fishing in the small pond.  The Camp does not provide "hook ups" for campers, nor do we have shower facilities.

Groups interested in using the Camp for the day and/or overnight tent camping,  should contact Angie Dean at 217-223-0423 x 306 or e-mail her at:  adean@twi.org.
