CRISIS ENGAGEMENT SPECIALIST–Mental Health Services **NEW POSITIONS!!**
Our Crisis Engagement Specialists will work as part of a team who responds to people in crisis and use their personal recovery experience to provide support to others. Through outreach and engagement, they will instill hope for recovery and help people develop natural supports and problem solving skills. Full-time or part-time positions are available in this new program! These positions will work evening hours (4pm –> Midnight) and be on-call during overnight hours and on weekends from the comfort of home to respond as part of a mobile crisis team.
The unique qualification for this position requires one to have direct, personal experience as a recipient of mental health services and be able to share their recovery experiences appropriately in order to assist others in their journey.
MOBILE CRISIS SPECIALIST–Mental Health Services
Our Mobile Crisis Specialists respond onsite to people in crisis in a 3-county area as well as provide short-term follow-up stabilization and care coordination services. This unique position is on-call evenings –> overnights 2-3 times/week from the comfort of home with a 4-day workweek and 3-day weekends every third week! This is a full-time, exempt position with a minimum of 35 hours/week, while paid for 40 hours/week. Perfect position for a ‘night owl’ who enjoys helping people problem-solve and frequent days off!
Applicants must have a BA/BS degree in Psychology, Social, Work, or other Human Services field.
DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL–Developmental/Intellectual Disability Services
As a Direct Support Professional at Transitions, you get to work with intellectually or developmentally disabled consumers in home settings, community settings, and/or in our day program. If you are patient and caring with a heart for helping others this might be the job for you! CNA experience is helpful and paid training is provided. Must be 18+ years of age and possess a High School Diploma/GED. We’re currently looking to hire for these shifts/hours:
- Full-time Evenings/Weekends–CILA Group Home
- Part-time Evenings/Weekends–CILA Group Home
- Part-time Weekends Only–CILA Group Home
- Full-time Evenings/Weekends, some daytime hours during the week as well–Intermittent CILA Services
- Full-time; combination of daytime and evening hours, and every other weekend–Community Villa (must be at least 21 years of age for this position)
THERAPIST–Mental Health Services
Join our team of mental health professionals who help individuals, couples, and families improve their lives every day! Our Therapists provide mental health services in outpatient and community-based settings using a collaborative treatment approach. Full-time position, primarily daytime hours of work plus on-call coverage.
This position requires a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or other Human Services field; LCSW or LCPC preferred. Competitive pay, bonus opportunity, and excellent benefits await you! We are also an approved site for the National Health Service Corps(NHSC) which grants loan forgiveness for LCSWs and LCPCs.
COMMUNITY SUPPORT WORKER–Mental Health Services
A Community Support Worker at Transitions provides valuable case management, skills building, counseling, community support, and stabilization services to adults who have serious mental illness. These services are provided in the clients’ natural environment (home, community) within Adams County. Hours are primarily daytime with after-hours on-call coverage 2-3 times/month. Full-time position.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other Human Services field.
All positions require ability to pass background checks and a drug test. Most positions require reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a good driving record.
