We’re looking for a Paraprofessional to work with children who have multiple disabilities in a non-traditional school setting. Para will work with children individually or in small groups to implement their IEPs, perform ADLs, and participate in community-based activities with the students. Must be ISBE Certified Paraprofessional or have 60 hours of college credits. Daytime hours of work, Part-time (about 30 hrs/wk), generous paid holidays, and a teamwork environment are available in this position.
CHILD & ADOLESCENT CRISIS WORKER, COMMUNITY SUPPORT WORKER
Crisis Workers will provide short term, intensive services to children in psychiatric crisis to stabilize them in their home and community after hospitalization or rather than hospitalization. Also provides linkage to ongoing mental health services for long-term stabilization. Hours of work are primarily afternoons/early evenings to meet the needs of children and families, full-time.
Community Support Workers will provide community support, counseling, case management, skills training, and stabilization services to children and youth who have experienced mental health conditions and are in need of community support to manage those conditions. Hours of work are primarily daytime with early evening availability 2-3 days/week, full-time.
Positions require after-hours on-call coverage on a rotating basis, approximately 6 times/month in Adams, Hancock, and Pike County.
Applicants must have:
- BA/BS degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other Human Services field
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record
- Ability to pass fingerprint background checks and drug test

DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS
Works with intellectually disabled consumers in home settings. Ideal candidate is patient and caring with a heart for helping others. CNA experience helpful. Must be 18+ years of age and possess High School Diploma/GED. Full and part-time shifts available, either evenings/weekends or overnights.
