~PROGRAM SUPERVISOR —Mental Health Services
Do you have a Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling? Ready for the next step in your Human Services career? Great! We have an opportunity for you to grow professionally, provide leadership to employees, and ensure children with mental health challenges get the professional services they need!

Applicants must have Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or other Human Services field; LCSW or LCPC preferred.

Full-time position! Pay range $33.47 – $40.79/hour dependent upon experience and/or licensure. Primarily daytime hours of work with after-hours on-call rotation (with extra pay!).

~RECOVERY SUPPORT SPECIALIST —Mental Health Services
A Recovery Support Specialist at Transitions works as part of our Community Support Team to provide intensive, recovery-oriented, community -based services to adults who have serious mental illness.  They use their own personal recovery experience in mental health services to educate others and to instill hope. This is a part-time or full-time position, primarily daytime hours with availability to work one evening/week.
Candidates for this position must be 21+ years old, possess a HS Diploma/GED, and must have direct, personal experience as a recipient of mental health services/treatment.  Pay range $17.53 – $18.41/hour (dependent upon experience).

~EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST —Mental Health Services

Our Employment Specialists get to connect adults who have mental illness or a disability to jobs in the community by forming productive relationships with their clients and local employers!  This work is performed using a highly successful evidenced-based practice in the client’s natural environment (home and community). This is a full-time position with primarily daytime hours of work plus participation in an after-hours crisis on-call system a few days/month.

Requires BA/BS degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Human Services. Experience in mental health/recovery services or job placement is preferred.  Pay range $23.81 – $25.00/hour (dependent upon experience).

~ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

We’re looking for an Associate Director of Finance to perform complex accounting duties at a premier, not-for-profit agency that provides invaluable human services to our community. The Associate Director of Finance will be responsible for budgeting, generating financial statements, grant reporting, reconciliations, and certain insurance coverages, among other accounting functions.

Skills Needed:

  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial analysis and reporting
  • Exceptional financial acumen with the ability to prepare complex financial statements
  • Collaboration with other directors to provide financial insights that drive business performance
  • Proficient in using various financial software tools for enhanced efficiency

CPA preferred; Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required. Candidate with not-for-profit accounting experience is preferred, as is accounting experience working with state and/or federal contracts.

Full-time position, daytime hours of work, Monday through Friday. Pay range $28.75 – $31.62 per hour (dependent upon experience).

~PARENT EDUCATOR    ** PAY RATE RECENTLY INCREASED!**

Our Parent Educators get to provide valuable home visiting services for parents of children ages Birth to Five. According to our participants, this is one of our most well-loved programs! Parent Educators empower parents to be their child’s first teacher using the Parents as Teachers evidenced-based practice model. They provide free educational and developmental tools to support parents, complete assessments, treatment plans, and deliver case management services.  Full-time position, mainly daytime and early evening hours of work according to parents’ needs along with the employee’s preferences, providing a flexible work schedule.

This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a Human Services field and experience with young children is preferred.

~CARE COORDINATOR —Mental Health Services

Join our team as we GROW!!! We’re looking for Care Coordinators to provide high quality care coordination, crisis stabilization, community support, and discharge planning services to children who have mental illness. You must be able to form positive working relationships with other service providers and family members in order to best support the children served in this program. Services will be provided in the clients’ natural environment (home, community) within Adams County and surrounding counties. Applicants must have:

  • BA/BS degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other Human Services field
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record
  • One year experience as a Mental Health Professional is preferred and experience working with children/adolescents is strongly preferred

This is a full-time position, primarily daytime hours of work Monday – Friday with two evenings/week and flexibility to accommodate unplanned client/family needs with little notice plus occasional on-call coverage after normal business hours. Competitive base pay, mileage reimbursement and great benefits are offered in this rewarding position. Pay range $24.60 – $25.83/hour (dependent upon experience).

~DIRECT CARE STAFF (DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL)–Developmental/Intellectual Disability or Mental Health Services

As a Direct Support Professional at Transitions, you get to work with consumers who have intellectual or mental disabilities in group home settings, community settings, and/or in our day program. If you are patient and caring with a heart for helping others, this rewarding work might be for you!  CNA experience is helpful; however, paid training is provided. Our evening/weekend positions feature competitive pay along with two bonuses paid during the first year!  Pay range $18.00 – $23.00/hour, depending on shift and experience.  Must be 18+ years of age and possess a High School Diploma/GED.

~TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to perform HR functions working with a staff of about 200 employees. Primary responsibilities are in the area of talent acquisition including candidate sourcing and advertising. applicant tracking, contact and engagement, scheduling and conducting interviews, checking references, conducting background checks, and leading orientation meetings. Will perform other duties within the scope of Human Resources or to support the agency’s employees and mission.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Communications, or similar field of study is required; work experience in HR is preferred. Excellent communication skills, friendly personality, the ability to change gears/priorities quickly and to navigate multiple projects simultaneously are very important in this role.  Full-time position, daytime hours of work, Monday through Friday.  Competitive pay range of $23.58 – $25.94/hour (dependent upon education and experience) and excellent benefits await you in this position!

Our Youth CSWs make a real difference to children who have experienced a psychiatric or behavioral crisis by providing assessment and helpful supports, coordinating services with community providers, and teaching valuable skills.  This position requires:

  • After-hours on-call coverage 3-4 times/month (paid!)
